From Cathy Braun:
My time is completed as the State Coordinator for Michigan. It was been a pleasure to stand with the many Michigan prayer coordinators and the National Day of Prayer Task Force leadership all across the nation. I look forward to having time for other prayer related "endeavors" such as writing and travel. After much prayer and with great confidence in the plan of the Lord, last month I recommended Pastor Sylvia Williams to our national leadership.
Sylvia Williams is now the State Coordinator. Please welcome her.
Sylvia L. Williams is the founder of He Giveth More Grace Ministries, a non-denominational, multi-cultural ministry devoted to teaching, training and equipping members of the Body of Christ to fulfill God’s call upon their lives. She is also the founder of Women of Destiny, the women’s fellowship at Merciful Ministries Church International in Redford, Mich., where she pastors alongside her husband, Pastor Lee Williams.
Pastor Sylvia is an international speaker and a published author
and journalist, and is known for turning “wimps into warriors” through her
prophetic teachings and apostolic training. She uses her God-given
gift for writing and editing in both the Christian and secular world. Her
“Spiritual Warfare Training Manual” was published in 2004 and she is currently
authoring a book on prayer and intercession.
Pastor Sylvia began her professional writing career
as a newspaper reporter at the Columbia
Daily Tribune in Columbia, Mo., when
she was a senior in high school. Her more than 40 years of journalistic experience
includes managing editor of an international business-to-business magazine and
manager of the writing department of Marilyn Hickey Ministries in Denver. She
is also a former assistant professor of journalism at Metropolitan State
University of Denver.
She is the founder and CEO of Dawson Publishing, a
for-profit publishing company that serves both the Christian and corporate
sectors. Pastor Sylvia is an editorial consultant, ghostwriter and copy editor,
providing writing and editing seminars as well as book and magazine publishing
conferences in Michigan and other parts of the United States.
