2012 Theme Art
I love this year's theme artwork! One nation! One God! One nation under one God! I hope you're making plans to attend a National Day of Prayer Event near you!
Of course, every one of you is welcome to the Lansing Capitol event. That's where I'll be. But if you can't get there, here's a link to find an event near you:

What a great planning meeting!
Oh, we had a wonderful, exciting, productive meeting in Lansing this past Saturday. What a fantastic Michigan Task Force the Lord has brought together. I'm feeling mighty blessed...mighty blessed, indeed!
It's going to be a capital Capitol event! Yes, it is! And I hope many of you will be able to attend.
Feel free to RSVP on our Facebook page and share the event with others. I'll be sure to update you as plans unfold [click here].
Please note we have a new Paypal button to the right. As you can imagine, events of this size require resources: the service of good people and and the finances of good people, too.
In addition to things like programs and sound equipment rental, there are many administrative expenses involved in running a non-profit organization. Anything you can do to help support this 61st Observance of the National Day of Prayer would be appreciated.
Many blessings!

And the accompanying verse: "Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord!" based on Psalm 33:12.
My Michigan coordinators, remember to post your events at www.ndptf.org.
If I can assist you in any way, please let me know.

My Prayers for Detroit
Detroit is a national leader and what happens in Detroit impacts our nation. With that in mind, I did a bit of research and am praying the following:
As "MOTOWN" released a sound that reached across the world, I pray that our united petitions will release a sound that shreds the kingdom of darkness and dispenses a light that ripples from our region to others.
As the "MOTOR CITY" mobilized the world, may we humble ourselves before the Lord and seek Him for healing in our land...an anointed revival that will revitalize our communities and roll out some new and wonderful things for the Kingdom of God!
Also, I am praying in agreement with Detroit's two mottos (on the city's flag):
1. "We hope for better things"
2. "It will rise from the ashes."
A Bit of History...that hopefully repeats itself...
A fire in 1805 caused the entire city of Detroit to burn with the exception of one building. In the center of the Detroit city flag, a woman on the left weeps over the city's destruction, while a woman on the right gestures to the new city that will rise in its place.
We did it before and we can do it again!
Pray with me that a holy spiritual fire falls on the great city of Detroit that changes the very landscape and brings new life to our city and beyond...in the mighty name of Jesus!
More prayer points and history to come! Let's connect on facebook and twitter...
Blessings,
Lori Wagner
