Our 15th annual Troy NDP event went off perfectly. Getting a late start was no deterrent to the work of the Lord. Through his help, and the assistance of many people, the event was filled with prayer. Even though weather was threatening, approximately 175 people attending and the rain held off till the last 5 minutes. One of the highlights was the involvement of some non-Christians who came to see how we prayed to the Lord. They stayed the whole time observing the event. With the Lord's assistance maybe we turned some hearts. We will be forwarding the video and some pictures on a DVD and CD as well and you can determine how to use them. - Robin B.

In Ann Arbor we had to move our downtown noontime event from City Hall to the Federal Building this year because of construction outside of City Hall. We also had rain begin just as the event got underway at 12:15 pm on Thursday May 7th. However, there was a small, 25 or so, hardy group of prayer warriors from several area churches gathered.
We took shelter under the canopy at the front entrance of the Federal Building in downtown Ann Arbor at Fifth and Liberty Streets. We prayed for our national, state and local officials and issues largely in that order. We ended our time a little past our posted ending time of 12:45 pm with a rousing chorus of Great is thy Faithfulness. We announced that we would gather again next year on the first Thursday of May for our National Day of Prayer either at City Hall (if the construction is completed,) or back at the Federal Building again. - Pastor Mike Frison, Knox Presbyterian Church

It was such a blessing that "the body" of Christ in our area came together for this prayer walk. There were 50 of us and we went from a church, to the hospital, to City all, to the High School and then to the Catholic Church hall for lunch. - Nancy W., Carson City, MI

We pray in our sanctuary (St. Luke Lutheran Church, Haslett, MI). The lights are dimmed, the altar candles lit, and we have Christian music softly playing in the background.
My highlight was seeing a dozen people silently praying in the darkened sanctuary.

Our NDP event in Ferrysburg found six of us meeting at the Ferrysburg City Hall and praying for the country and leaders from 12:20 p.m. - 12:40 p.m. There are four churches in Ferrysburg and we had three represented in our group with two pastors. It was a powerfilled time. Blessings, Margery Lembke, coordinator
